Plant reflectance and colour infrared photography.
Abstract
Tobacco cv. Virginia Gold infested with blue mould (Peronospora hyoscyami f. tabacina) and fresh, wilted or dried plants of tobacco and Atriplex nummularia were photographed in the laboratory with normal colour film or with infra-red colour film using various filters. Results showed that it was not possible to record on infra-red colour film any visual evidence of disease or stress which was not recorded on normal colour film.
