Effects of aerial applications of fenitrothion on bird populations of a Scottish pine plantation.
Abstract
A study was carried out in the UK in 1982-84 of 5 passerine bird species in four plots (70 ha), two of which were sprayed at 300 g/ha with fenitrothion to control outbreaks of Panolis flammea in Pinus contorta plantations. No clear major effects on the 5 species were detected.
