An introduction to evidence-based conservation (content tailored for research scientists) [in Chinese].
Abstract
The scientific knowledge of nature conservation is accumulating rapidly around the world, but the gap between research and practice requires narrowing the gap. Evidence-based nature conservation aims to solve this problem in the following ways: (i) evidence integration and rigorous evaluation (systematic evidence review, summary); (ii) provide evidence in a way that is easy to understand and obtain (summary and decision support tools); (iii) evidence-based decision-making helps avoid prejudice, increase transparency and effectiveness.
