Registration

We have been pleased and surprised by the unprecedented interest in Ecology Across Borders.

But, due to the strict capacity of the meeting venue and level of bookings, we have been forced to take the unusual step of closing registration early.

Anyone who has had their talk or poster accepted will STILL have the opportunity to register by 17.00 (BST) 20 October; we will shortly contact you by email.

We do understand the impact of this decision and appreciate the disappointment this might cause. We always do our best to accommodate as many delegates as possible, but the strict venue capacity and health and safety implications mean we have to close registration. Unfortunately, this also means that we will not be able to offer day registration onsite.

We are proud of our programme and the efforts of the many people involved, so we encourage everyone to interact and follow the proceedings on Twitter with #EAB2017.

Member rates apply to all members of the three partner organisations; BES, GFÖ and NecoV.
Each organisation will crosscheck registrations with their records.

Earlybird registration will open in mid July.

Standard Registration

Standard registration will open from 17:00 (BST), Friday 20 October to 17:00 (BST), Monday 20 November.

Pre-Meeting Workshops

We will be holding a number of workshops on Monday 11 December. This need to be pre-paid in advance (£20 / €22) by adding them to your registration when you book.

All lunchtime workshops within the main meeting programme are included within the registration fee and do not require pre-booking.

Conference Dinner

We will be inviting you to join us at our Ecology Across Borders dinner. This will be at an additional cost of £55 / €60 and will need to be added to your registration when you book.

If you can’t make the dinner, our doors will open once the dinner is complete so that everyone can join us for a drink and a dance when the band starts!

Post Conference Tours

We are pleased to offer a number of post conference tours to enhance your stay in Ghent, including tours of Ghent and neighbouring cites, a guided art, and an ecological site visit! Make sure to add this to your registration when booking.

Cancellation

All registration cancellations are subject to a £50 administration fee.

If cancellation is received before 23:59 (BST) 28 October 2017, full registration (less £50 admin fee) will be given, and 50% refund on Gala Dinner and pre-pay Workshops.

If Cancellation is received after 00:00 (BST) 29 October 2017, but before 23:59 (BST) 29 November 2017, 50% of registration will be refunded, a £50 admin fee will be charged, and 50% refund on Gala Dinner and pre-pay Workshops.

No refunds will be given after 00:00 BST 30 November 2017.
