Workshops will take place once a month and will be 45 mins long, with an interactive Q&A session.

The next AER Live workshop will be:

What does it take to eradicate invasive species from islands?

This workshop is sponsored by Wildlife Acoustics.

Wednesday 21 April 20:00 BST / 09:00 HST / 15:00 EDT

by Dr Patricia Baiao, Island Conservation

Islands offer incredible opportunities for the complete removal of damaging invasive species and eradication is a proven tool that has been used all around the world with inspiring outcomes for native species and ecosystems. The principles of eradication have been derived from projects worldwide and applied broadly, but each eradication is nested within complex social-political contexts that need to be incorporated into planning and implementation.
