Childcare

For the first time, we are very pleased to offer Childcare at our Annual Meeting.

For a number of years now we have seen the number of parents with babies and young children at the Annual Meeting increase. In line with this we have incorporated as a standard a family room, giving basic facilities for those with young children, and an area for those breastfeeding. We have also recently introduced the discounted parent/carer registrations allowing parents to participate in the conference at a reduced cost, as well as the accompanying person rate. This year we are very pleased to offer Childcare at our Annual Meeting.

We will be working with Nipperbout, who have received the Ofsted “Outstanding” rating every year since 2005 and have a team of qualified staff with either Level 3 or above in childcare or Degree Level 6 in their area of expertise. There is DBS clearance for all their employees and registration with the annual DBS update service is a requirement.

You can read the Nipperbout privacy policy is on their website. Please note the conference is therefore not the provider of the service, but facilitates your access to this service.

We will be offering a short stay crèche allowing delegates to leave children, for 2 slots per day, either side of lunch. Childcare is not available for the lunch period, so parents/carers are responsible collecting their children and for providing lunch.

The facilities will include all the fun and games of their Stay and Play Areas  with the added ingredient of allowing the customer to actually leave their children, safe in the knowledge that Nipperbout’s Purple People are taking great care of them.

Nipperbout creates an exciting, child friendly environment, themed and tailored a range of ages range and numbers.

Number of Spaces

We will be offering a limited number of spaces for childcare, for children from 0 – 12 years old, these will be offered on a first come first serve basis, bookable in advance of the conference.

To be sure of a place you must book in advance, however any spaces not pre booked will be available on a first come first served basis at the event. Crèche Tickets can be purchased at the information desk.

Timings

We will be offering a short stay crèche allowing delegates to leave children, for 2 slots per day, either side of lunch. Childcare is not available for the lunch period, so parents/carers are responsible collecting their children and for providing lunch. Timings available for each day of the conference are:

Monday 17 December:  08:15 – 12:30 & 13:15 – 18:00

Cost

Childcare comes at a cost to the Society, however we are keen to ensure Childcare is accessible to our delegates. As such we will be absorbing a large portion of the cost, to ensure the rate to parents/carers is as low as possible.
